November 2009: Message from the President
Dear Members,
Many members have just returned from our exciting, information-packed Annual Meeting in Bristol, England. A special thanks to Sue and Frank Wagstaff for planning and organizing a highly memorable and successful event!
With the future release on the TCC web site of our Annual Meeting Bulletin, due in early December, you will learn all of the details of this meeting along with the fantastic Anniversary Ceramics Tour of England and Wales that preceded the annual event.
But I can't wait until December to share with you this special news item: At the annual meeting in Bristol England, Robert Copeland, a long-standing contributor to the TCC, was recognized for his outstanding contribution to the field of ceramics by bestowing on him the club's first and only Life-Time Honorary Membership. "Have you used our new Source Print Database yet? You can learn how to take advantage of this incredible database by logging on to the Pattern and Source Print Database and clicking on "How to Get Started" link. Scroll past the Pattern Search instructions and you will find additional instructions on how to conduct a Source Print Search. There are currently 333 source prints recorded in the database. Your search will reward you with complete information about the print and about all of the transferware patterns each has inspired. Check it out!"
Kind Regards, Loren Zeller, TCC President
